Visiting the Arouca Geopark is like delving into the history of Planet Earth and discovering the stories of a region which, thanks to its unique characteristics, captivates us from the very first glance.

The ‘Geosites Route Guide’ allows us to travel back in time and explore millions of years of Earth’s history. The ‘Biodiversity Guide’ introduces us to the wildlife of this area. The Visitor’s Guide is the ideal companion for exploring each of the five tourist regions of the Arouca Geopark, whilst the ‘Paiva Walkways Nature Guide’ accompanies us along this route, giving us the opportunity to discover the rocks, biodiversity, the traditions and the mysticism of the legends of the Paiva Valley.
